Privacy by Design: How Our Calculator Works

Our waist-to-hip ratio calculator was built from the ground up with a privacy-first architecture. Rather than collecting your data and promising to protect it, we engineered a system where your sensitive body measurements never leave your device in the first place.

Client-Side JavaScript Processing

Every calculation on this site runs entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you enter your waist and hip measurements, the numbers are processed locally by your browser's JavaScript engine. No measurement data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party service. No Server-Side Data Collection

Unlike many health and fitness calculators that send your inputs to a server for processing, our calculator performs all arithmetic and health risk assessments locally. The server delivers the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to your browser, and that is the end of the server's involvement with your interaction. Your body measurements, calculation results, and health category classifications exist only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session.

No User Accounts or Tracking Cookies

We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the calculator. There are no tracking cookies placed on your device to monitor your measurement history or build a profile of your health data. Browser-Only Processing
